Signal in the Wastes - Seek the Piper’s frequency

Paragraph 23 - Seek the Piper’s Frequency

You tune past the static, hunting for a thread of melody only the desperate believe in.

The Piper doesn’t broadcast often. When she does, it’s never for long — just enough for the brave or foolish to follow.

Her tone surfaces for two seconds — a high, aching note wrapped in distortion. Coordinates hide in the tremor.
